Jabbok International Ministries is a nondenominational church, strategically located on the outskirts of Washington, DC. Jabbok, which was founded in 1995 with 21 members, is a rapidly growing congregation. Jabbok is under the spiritual leadership and guidance of Bishop Donald A. Wright, Sr. Jabbok is a church with a burden to see the KINGDOM of GOD manifested in the earth through the power of prayer, pure worship and the teaching of the rightly divided Word of God in truth

Bishop’s passion to pastor a church where you won't be able to tell the ex-drug dealer from the attorney, or the truck driver from the doctor creates an atmosphere where at any given service, you are apt to find an ex-prostitute standing beside a CEO of a major company lifting their hands in worship to the one and only savior, Jesus Christ.

Jabbok is committed to outreach and has established several ministries that serves the community to include: weekly visits to homeless shelters; weekly visits to homes for pregnant teens and teenage mothers; computer training; and prison ministry. At Jabbok we are determined to offer up a clear sound of worship that God might be glorified.
